Are some of the possible responses after reading the title of the post. My answer to all of those questions: Calm down people. It is to just get your attention.

Let me refresh your memory. Four hundred and nineteen days ago this happened.

About a month and a half before that he missed his first ever slam in a million years. When he last missed a slam (1998), Tendulkar could still play the straight drive, Lara was depressed and wanted to quit cricket, MJ retired for the 2nd time after a 2nd three-peat. Nick Kyrgios was 3 years old, Sascha Zverev was 1 year old, Denis Shapovalov wasn't even born. Iron Man Fed was on the verge of being Glass Man Fed. A few days later he shut down his season.

Do you remember those dark days? Do you remember how difficult it was every Friday before a big tournament not to see Federer's name in draw? Do you remember those withdrawal symptoms? The inability to see that thing of indescribable pulchritude? The pain? The suffering? 

"What did I ever do to you? Why are you reminding me of such gut-wrenching memories that I've worked hard to suppress?" one might be inclined to ask. I'll give you an answer similar to what George gave Kurt.

"ENJOY DAMMIT! ENJOY EVERY PRECIOUS MOMENT AS IF IT WERE THE LAST TIME FEDERER IS GOING TO PLAY A POINT!"

I am fully aware that the Federer greed is one of the hardest vices to give up but just remember how magical this season has been. Federer himself just expected to be in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open and wanted to get enough match practice and fitness for Wimbledon. That he is in a position to complete a FOURTH treble season is in itself a medical miracle. A 3-slam season at 36 is beyond even an amalgamation of Chuck Norris & Rajinikanth.

So my dear Fedtards, there is no doubt in my mind that Federer is going to win the 137th edition of the US Open. I am just asking you to enjoy the man in one of the best outfits he's worn in his career.
